Editing Your Website Banner in Webnode
Step 1 - Go to http://www.webnode.com and log in. Select Design Website and then Website Editor as shown below. You will then see an edit screen like the one shown on the right. Select Settings and Website Header from the dropdown menu, as shown on the right. CLICK ON IMAGES TO SEE ENLARGED VIEW! |
|
| Step 2 - Note the size of the current banner. You should create your own banner of the same size using some type of photo editor. PhotoScape, available at http://photoscape.org is a very nice free editor. After you have a banner of the correct size created on your computer, click on the default banner, as shown on the right. | ![]() |
| Step 3 - Click on Upload Images - this will bring up an image upload tool. | ![]() |
| Step 4 - Browse and open the image file from your computer. Then select Upload to upload the image. | ![]() |
| Step 5 - In the next screen that you see, select the image you just uploaded. Then click on Insert. | ![]() |
| Step 6 - Click OK on the next screen as shown on the right. | ![]() |
| Step 7 - You notice that the slogan now runs through your banner! To get rid of this slogan, click on Settings and Website Header again, as you did in Step 1. Also, in the top left, the title is Mychurch - we will change that to My Church Site. | ![]() |
| Step 8 - Delete the Slogan. Also edit the Website name. Click OK at the bottom. The troublesome slogan is gone and the Website name is now My Church Site. | ![]() |
| Step 9 - Always remember to Publish after making any changes. Otherwise the changes will be lost when you log out. | ![]() |
