How To Set up a Free Church Website Blog on Wordpress

Step 1 - Go to http://www.wordpress.com and click on the Sign Up Now button as shown on the right CLICK ON IMAGES TO SEE ENLARGED VIEW!
Step 2 - Select a User Name and password and indicate the email address you want to use. Note that the User Name will make up the name of your blog. So if you choose firstbaptistofdallas as your username, then your blog address will be firstbaptistofdallas.wordpress.com. Click on Next.
Step 3 - Fill in your Blog Title as shown on the right. Click on Sign Up.
Step 4 - Enter your name and click on Save Profile.
Step 5 - Check your email. You should get an email allowing you to activate the blog. Click on the activation link in the email.
Step 6 - On the next screen select Log In as shown on the right.
Step 7 - Enter your User Name and Password and click on Log in.
Step 8 - You will be taken to what is called a Dashboard. From here you can create posts or edit your site. To see your actual blog, click on Visit Site, as shown.
Step 9 - Here is your blog! Looks a little on the dull side? No problem - In the next tutorial, I will show you how to completely change the look with just a few clicks.
